Flexible couplings are used in hazardous areas in a conduit system to achieve required curvatures or to allow movement and/or vibration of equipment or unit connections. For use in wiring lines sizes from ½” to 2” it is insulated against ground and direct fire from short circuits.
EXGJH couplings combine two male threads at their ends.
EXLK couplings combine a male thread and a female union.
80-84 (Shore A Durometer).

Polyvinyl chloride has a crystallization temperature of 5° F (-15° C).
PVC coating will burn if exposed to continuous flame or heat above 400°F (204°C).
Prolonged exposure to temperatures greater than 200°F (93°C) or fire may cause the PVC coating to release emissions potentially hazardous to the health of those exposed to them.

Flexible coupling (specify type: EXGJH for female ends with removable nipple or EXLK for one female end with removable nipple and another with UNF type union), with bronze mesh, for Class I areas, Division 1 and 2, groups A , B, C and D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, groups E, F and G; Class III, (specify diameter and length, e.g.: 3/4”Ø and 15” length), with exterior PVC coating and interior coating of the nipples with yellow urethane, REPSA Yellow Coat®.
